FOR FUN

I sometimes paint just to create something I like.

Every so often, I see something that really feels visually appealing and I feel inspired to put it on canvas. I can look at some things for hours, if they have balance and harmony. Perhaps for somebody with such a noisy mind and an inability to stop thinking about the whys and wherefores of every action and interaction, it is my way of adding a little bit of meditation to my life. Lord knows I can’t meditate the more conventional way. As much as these paintings were created for fun, they did all come out of a definite thought process at the time, so I have included their own quirky stories too.
